Reimagined and relaunched for OpenCircle’s 40th Anniversary, the Awards Program marks the return of a proud Merit tradition—celebrating the leaders, partners, and pioneers shaping Alberta’s construction industry, and featuring a first‑of‑its‑kind award presented by the Premier of Alberta.
Mix & Mingle
An immersive whiskey-lounge journey awaits—complete with interactive activations, elevated food experience, awards, captivating entertainment, and live music throughout the evening.
Live Music
Achilles Last Stand is made up of five local guys who have always loved live music and performance. Launched nearly 13 years ago, Achilles Last Stand focuses on showcasing a diversity of rock, pop, dance, and country music covers from the 1960s today, but often in a flavour that is very much their own. The lead guitar player Matt Schellenberger has been engaged with the construction industry in Alberta for over 15 years and serves as Vice President, Member Services at OpenCircle. Achilles Last Stand looks forward to keeping guests entertained during OpenCircle’s 40th anniversary.
